Mandate

The objectives of this non-for-profit charitable organization are:

To create a platform for Luso-Canadian filmmakers, throughout the province and the country, to showcase their media arts work.
To encourage and promote the understanding of Portuguese culture through the art of cinema.
To enrich the art of Portuguese cinema and facilitate the meeting of Portuguese filmmakers from around the world in Toronto.
To stimulate the motion picture industry within the Portuguese communities spread through out the globe, particularly in Canada.
To stimulate Canadians in understanding Luso-Canadianism and Portuguese cultures spread throughout the world through the art of film.
